Designed by K-Thengono Design Studio, this residence uses split-massing to balance openness and privacy while drawing daylight and cross ventilation deep into the home. Perched atop the green roof, an outdoor dining and lounge pavilion becomes the final stop in a vertical sequence of spaces, anchoring the home's nature-forward character at its highest point.
Set beneath a timber slat canopy on a rooftop planted with grass, the space called for furniture that could hold its own against the landscape without competing with it. Our Hina Dining Table, Hina Recta Coffee Table, Clio Bench, and Timo Side Chair were selected for warmth and weight, pieces that feel rooted rather than placed, echoing the solidity of the concrete and timber structure around them.
The Hina Dining Table and Hina Recta Coffee Table anchors the dining area with a solid, tactile presence, while the Clio Bench offers a relaxed, communal seat that softens the more structured dining setup. Paired with the woven texture of the Timo Dining Chair, the combination brings a lived-in, natural warmth to a space designed for gathering and slow rooftop evenings.
